Why it was created
The Grizzly Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Grizzly Mining Limited.
It is dedicated to driving sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives across Zambia.
It was established to uplift underprivileged communities by providing long term solutions in Education, Healthcare, Community developement and Environmental conservation.
Key Objectives:
Bridge Social economic Gaps – Providing scholarships, building schools, and supporting vocational training to empower future generations.
Ensure Sustainable Development – Implement long-term, self-sustaining projects that empower communities rather than providing temporary aid.
Expand CSR Efforts – Formalize and expand Grizzly Mining's philanthropic initiatives, making them more structured and impactful.
Enhance Community Well-being – Improve the living standards of people in the company’s catchment areas and beyond.
Promote Inclusive Growth – Ensure that the benefits of mining and industrial progress extend to local communities, fostering inclusive economic development.
